  • I have some very expensive headphones, can I use my own headsets with the Bluestream?
  • Yes, the jack on our device is standard 3.5mm, and can accomodate any standard headset. The microphone is integrated into the body of the device.
  • The headset works fine in hands-free mode, however when I go to play music, I hear nothing
  • In order to hear music, your phone must support A2DP. Some phones have MP3 players, but the music has to be played though headphoens that are plugged into the device. Please check the specifications of your device to ensure it supports A2DP. Further, some phones force you to pair the device with the AXBlueSteram twice, once for hands-free, and once for Stereo Bluetooth.
  • I have a Palm 700wx, and the music skipps constantly
  • Go to the Palm support page, there is a recent patch that remedies this
  • When I am connecto to my Bluetooth dongle in stereo mode, people can't hear me when I talk through my voice chat program
  • The Stereo Bluetooth profile does not use the microphone, this is a bluetooth limitation. In order to use our device for two-way communication, you must use the Bluetooth HPF profile (Bluetooth Handsfere Headset)
  • I am using Mac OS X Tiger, and can't hear any audio, or control audio playback.
  • Mac OS X Tiger does not support A2DP or AVRCP. There are some third party applications that reportidly will make it work with Tiger, however OS X Leopard is planned to support these functions out of the box.
  • When I am listening to music on my phone, and a call comes in, I can't hear the other person, nor can they hear me, until I switch the call back to the phone, then back onto the bluetooth device.
  • Some bluetooth devices are unable to switch smoothly between bluetooth profiles, however if you contact the manufacturer, they may have a patch you can install on your phone/device. In the interim, you must manually switch the call back and forth for it to work.
  • When I am in my car, the bluetooth device picks up too much road noise.
  • Some of the first BlueStreams to ship had firmware on it that did not allow the user to change the microphone sensitivity. You can update the firmware by going to the downloads section and acquiring the program.. (Coming Soon)
