When you connect a USB device to your computer, you may receive the following error message:

A USB device has requested more power than the hub can provide. Windows cannot enable the device. Remove the device and restart your computer.

This behavior can occur if there are too many USB devices plugged into a passive (non-powered) USB hub.

Plug the device directly to the USB port on the computer or use an active (powered) USB hub.

Some USB devices or hubs come with a power supply. Try using that power supply.
