"General Error" when trying to format hard drive

If the Simple NAS Home Page detects the hard drive under "Disk Info" and you attempt to format the hard drive with the Disk Utility, you may receive the following error:

Action Failed! Error Code = General Error

 

 

This is a known bug in firmware version 1-0125 through 4-0317.

 

 

Please update your firmware to the latest version to resolve this issue.
