Red tool light stays on after 10 minutes and does not go out

When you turn the Wireless NAS on, the red tool light is lit for an extended amount of time and you cannot access the WNAS.

 

 

The red tool light indicates error checking and system startup.
This behavior can occur when:

1. The unit was improperly turned off. The red tool light will remain active for 10 minutes before you can use the WNAS.

2. An internal error has occurred and the unit is unable to recover.

 

 

Wait at least 10-15 minutes before proceeding!

1. Unplug the power cable and wait for five minutes.
2. Plug the power cable back in and turn on the WNAS.

Wait for the red light to go out and you should be able to use the WNAS.
